Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have. |
Add the ability to recover/restore data that has been previously deleted. |
How will this idea help you and potentially others? Understanding how things are done today, where the pain is, and how the idea is beneficial puts us in your shoes. |
There have been times in K1 aggregator that for one reason or another something was deleted unintentionally. Having the ability to recover previously deleted data would make for a quicker solution, instead of having to go through the process of having to recreate work or go through K1X support. This is especially the case in a fund of funds context where there are a lot of K-1's to process and work through. |
Who will benefit from this idea? Whether it's specific roles of users, users of a specific product, or certain departments/markets, this helps us know who to talk to when we need more information. |
Everyone who uses K1 aggregator can probably benefit from this. Although the number of incidents where data is deleted inadvertently is probably small, it would be good to have a safety net in the case it does happen. |
How do you envision this idea being implemented at K1x? You're the expert and understanding how you see this working helps kickstart the idea. |
As far as how this could look, I think a simple trashcan function where you can restore deleted instances/investments/etc. would work fine. |
