CA 109 Contributions State-specific Statement

Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have.

Because of ordering rules, the federal and state returns calculate different allowable deductions in a given year. Therefore, a state-specific schedule should be generated.

CA 109, Part II is reporting $37,226 on Line 19 and $31,997 on Line 20.

However, the statement attached to the CA 109 return pulls the federal amount. Jenni has to manually remove the line printing for state taxes.

The CA 109 statement for contributions pulls from the federal amounts rather than the state amount.

Because the CA 109 is paper filed, we manually correct the final copy provided to the client. But this is something that K1x should look into correcting because it's an error.
