Commonly, an organization will receive contributions throughout the year that sum to an amount greater than $5000 so they must be listed on Sch. B. Since there were multiple payments received, a single date is not accurate in reporting these contributions. Having an option for multiple dates to select, or simply allowing text to type "VAR" or "VARIOUS" would show the contribution was received throughout the year at different times.

Would allow the preparer to correctly show when the contribution is received on the return and be more accurate for reporting.

Modification to the date box to allow text to be entered to override a single date, or a "various dates" checkbox that can be selected to achieve the same goal.
