Update roles to make access more applicable to firm addition

Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have.

The roles and descriptions still fit the old Ctrac for Crowe use. The roles need to be updated and modified for the firm edition. (See Service Request 7101)

How will this idea help you and potentially others? Understanding how things are done today, where the pain is, and how the idea is beneficial puts us in your shoes.

The roles do not make sense for the firm addition. For example, under client roles is efile access. This firm does not grant their client users efile access.

Who will benefit from this idea? Whether it's specific roles of users, users of a specific product, or certain departments/markets, this helps us know who to talk to when we need more information.

All other firms that user this software.

How do you envision this idea being implemented at K1x? You're the expert and understanding how you see this working helps kickstart the idea.

Work with all firms, not just us to update the roles to be better suited for the firm use of this tool.

K1x publishes Client Roles and Firm Roles, however the roles are not restricted under each classification, and can be intermingled. As indicated above, an Administrator can grant the eFile Access role to a Client user (not ideal); or Tax Director role to a Firm user. This doesn't make sense. We've run into an issue on who at our Firm could generate a Final Print Package; it's someone who can lock/unlock a return. There really isn't a compatible Firm Role for this, so we ended up granting the Tax Director role to a Firm user. There should probably an "Engagement Manager" type of Firm role that is somewhat similar to the Client Tax Director role.
