Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have. |
Form 990 includes several sections (Part IV, Sch. F Part IV, etc.) that are longer lists of Y/N questions. Include a "Check All" box like the one available for checking states when available. |
How will this idea help you and potentially others? Understanding how things are done today, where the pain is, and how the idea is beneficial puts us in your shoes. |
It's much easier to "Check All" and then uncheck specific items as applicable. From a client's perspective, if they have minimal activity, they might have to check the "no" box 30 times and the "yes" box less than 5 times. Will save a lot of extra clicks. I know that this opens up the risk of not comparing PY to CY, but not much more than that risk already exists regardless of the process. |
Who will benefit from this idea? Whether it's specific roles of users, users of a specific product, or certain departments/markets, this helps us know who to talk to when we need more information. |
Preparers and clients entering information into 990. Could likely be applied to other forms with longer lists. |
How do you envision this idea being implemented at K1x? You're the expert and understanding how you see this working helps kickstart the idea. |
Just add helpful "select all" type boxes anywhere there a large list. "Check All Yes" and/or "Check All No"; seems like a simple improvement. The "Check All" on state listings is fantastic. Much easier to check all and then uncheck 4 states, rather than checking the box(es) 46 times to populate. |
