Automatically hide contributions below the threshold when using the special rule on Schedule B

Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have.

When using the special rule on Schedule B, contributions that were added into the portal but fall below the 2% threshold needed to be reported on the return are automatically hidden, rather than having to delete them.

How will this idea help you and potentially others? Understanding how things are done today, where the pain is, and how the idea is beneficial puts us in your shoes.

If the client uploads more contributions than necessary, we don't have to fully delete them from the system. This will save time and more importantly will keep the additional contributions for our records (and Excess Contributions calculations).

Who will benefit from this idea? Whether it's specific roles of users, users of a specific product, or certain departments/markets, this helps us know who to talk to when we need more information.

990 preparers, clients

How do you envision this idea being implemented at K1x? You're the expert and understanding how you see this working helps kickstart the idea.

Schedule B already calculates the 2% threshold on the screen, it just needs to be added in to the print/Efile code that contributions below the code don't get included.
