It would be nice to be able to import only federal activity from K-1s into CCH while decisions are still being made on which states to file in in a given year. |

On the most complex projects, it is often helpful to get federal activity reconciled while decisions are still being made at the state-level. Currently, K1x imports all federal and state K-1 activity altogether (from any states not deleted) into CCH. However, if it's decided we are not filing in 10 states that have previously been imported into CCH, this causes unneeded information and diagnostics in the software. |

Maybe on the Data Integration page, having a section between "Select Investments" and "Select Foreign Forms" for "Select Tax Authorities" where you select "federal" and any states you want to import at that time (while other states are still being decided) |
