I have no idea what screen/tab this idea would easily go on. But it would be really helpful if on one screen you could select which year you want to roll, then go down a client list and check a box next to each client you wanted to roll from that year to the next. Maybe there's multiple columns with check boxes in each column for you to select if you want to roll data and/or roll permissions. Maybe have an asterisk or something next to clients that have already been rolled and gray out clients that have nothing to roll. Maybe you can't change what returns are prepared from that screen, but for those few oddballs it would be fine to do those manually. But to be able to bulk roll forward all the 6/30 or 12/31 returns (for example) would be a huge time saver. |
