Describe your idea. The more information you provide, the clearer picture of your idea we will have. |
We are filing Form 990 for a client that has dissolved. The tax period should cover 1/1/2024 – 3/31/2024. 2023 forms are being used to file the final Form 990 because the 2024 forms are not yet available. This is permissible in the Form 990 instructions. The beginning tax year end in 990 Tracker is hardcoded and it not editable. This should be corrected so that the correct tax year will print in these circumstances when an organization changes its year end or files a final return. |

This will correctly print the tax year end on the form and provide a professional looking final return without additional time to manually manipulate the final PDF. |

The client will receive an accurate return, and the preparer will not incur unnecessary time manually manipulating PDF's and explaining to clients why the year end printed on the form is incorrect. |
