K3 Parts 2 and 3 have a column for Foreign Source Other (column E on part 2 and F on Part 3) with a category code line. Generally, this line is blank and the reader leaves it blank when reading from the PDF. However, if any Part 2 or 3 manual entries are required, the platform automatically populates 901j. There is no option to have it be blank. |

It will make data review more streamlined and faster. The total summary lines (line 24/54/55) are not combined when there is a blank category code entry and a 901j code. They provide a total for all entries without the category code and all entries with the category code. One needs to manually combine them to verify the correct totals |

Adding a 'blank' option to the drop down, in addition to 901j and OTH, for column E/F category code so it matches the entries read by the reader, allowing for the Part 2, line 24/54/55 totals to be properly grouped for ease of review |
