Update the heading for Page 6, line 2 to correctly identify the information and instructions. "States in which conducting business & filing returns" or something similar. |

The current heading is incorrect/misleading as to the information being reported - especially problematic if the return is paper filed and/or confusing to clients in reviewing the information. The instructions for Page 6, line 2 ask to enclose a list of all states in which the corporation is doing business and filing state corporation income or franchise tax returns. The heading when C-TRAC generates this statement says "States doing business with Kansas." This should be an easy fix to eliminate confusion created by a poorly written heading. |
