Form 990, Part 8, Line 11, Part 9 Line 24, system is not sending in a descending order. You will have to sort it outside and make it descending prior entering in the template vs CCH, you can enter in any order and it automatically sorts it in descending order |

Adding the IRS regulations for reference.
We would like to add some additional context to this idea. While it is not necessarily required that the amounts are in descending order (Axcess just did this automatically), however for both the revenue and expense per the instructions the largest amounts are to be reported on those lines that show the detail and then the smaller amounts go to all other revenue/expense. So, we must be the ones to make sure we are putting the largest items in those categories on the lines that will show up with the description. Opposed to just entering everything and having the system put the largest amounts on the lines. Also, this could change from year to year, and we would have to reorder them for that purpose.
